Our goal here at Triple C is to produce the old-fashioned type of foundation Quarter Horse that
any family member can enjoy from the beginner to the serious competitor. Our trainer, Matt
Whitman, employs basic reining maneuvers when starting all our colts. The 2-year-olds and up
have had at least 90 days with Matt, and he feels strongly that all of them have been not only
good-minded and quiet, but that they will also be able to perform and excel in any event asked of
them. All will make great trail horses, some have been started trotting around a barrel pattern,
and the older ones have had extensive roping experience both in stockyard and pasture in varying
terrain (but not out of the box). Every riding horse we are offering has been ridden by amateur
family members and several by our 9-year-old granddaughter. Not one of them has any bad
habits, and all possess the kind of excellent, willing dispositions that will make them a joy to own
and ride for many years to come.
